The father-in-law of former cricketer and Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Yusuf Pathan, his son, and another relative were arrested for allegedly attacking a man and his family in Mumbai’s Byculla area two days ago after the man’s car splashed water onto one of them while passing through a pothole.
The Bhaykal police station in Mumbai arrested them under sections 118(2), 115(2), 324, 352, 351(2), and 3(5) of the IPC, and one person is absconding. The police took action in the case based on CCTV footage, witness statements, and the recovered weapons (bamboo sticks and baseball bats).
